CLEAN WATER FOR SCHOOLS

The Thirst for Knowledge, Undermined
by Lack of Water

In many regions, students struggle with water scarcity and waterborne illnesses, hindering their education and overall wellbeing. Time spent fetching water, dealing with illness, and the simple distraction of thirst prevent them from fully engaging in their studies, creating a cycle that limits their potential.

Making a Significant Impact

Over the past year, Kafel Aid has made significant contributions to schools located within refugee camps by providing thousands of nutritious meals for students. This initiative has resulted in notable enhancements in student health and attendance, improved concentration and academic performance, as well as an increased sense of dignity and well-being among the students. Headteachers from the participating schools reported that the implementation of the new school meal programme has substantially reduced dropout rates and has allowed students to allocate more time to their academic pursuits. We are now advancing this initiative through the Clean Water Project, which aims to further improve health outcomes and academic performance.
